I started Stillwater & Pine Financial because I wanted to build a bookkeeping practice around something I believe small business owners often need more of:

My background includes more than 20 years working in a detail-oriented business environment where accuracy, organization, follow-through and keeping track of a lot of moving pieces were part of my everyday work. I believe that having clear processes and policies in place creates the structure needed to successfully work toward your goals.
I bring that same approach to bookkeeping.
I'm not trying to be everything to every business. I've intentionally chosen to specialize in real estate agents, home inspectors and home appraisers so I can better understand how my clients earn their income, the expenses they encounter and the financial information that's most useful to them.
Stillwater & Pine is intentionally a personal bookkeeping practice. When you work with me, you're working directly with the person responsible for your books - not being passed from one team member to another.

I provide bookkeeping - not tax preparation or tax advice.
When tax questions arise or your CPA has a preferred accounting treatment, I'm happy to coordinate with your tax professional so your bookkeeping supports the work they're doing.
That means fewer surprises and better-organized records when tax time arrives.

The best bookkeeping relationships are collaborative. I'll take responsibility for keeping your books organized and current, but there will occasionally be questions or information I'll need from you to make sure your records are accurate.
